Dec 5, 2008 - Kind of funny to see you explain the mridhangam in a very anglo-american accented English. You sound and look like the type of person that likes to hang out at Starbucks and sip on a latte, as you contemplate the state of your "mridhaaangum". Anyways, jokes aside, great job

Dec 5, 2008 - Rohan is from an Indian family, but grew up mostly in the USA -- thus the accent (or lack of same, depending on your viewpoint). What's so strange about that?

Dec 5, 2008 - Anything with more than 10,000 hits gets negative comments! I have learned mridangam for several years and know that Rohan's strokes are SO CLEAR AND BEAUTIFUL! His style is very mature and creative. I would love to play just half of his ideas! Keep it up Rohan, you will get 1 million hits very soon!

Dec 5, 2008 - it will be cool, if you join a band, and instead of using the regular drums use the mridangum. A sort of east / west fusion music. That would sound really awesome lol. You're already in the U.S. so it's not so hard to join a band.
