More like a preparation for the operation. Russians attacked Georgia first, using South Ossetia as a shield. I have relatives in Russia, Georgia, Australia and Germany. Not only BBC, CNN and Fox said the TRUTH, German and Australian did as well, even some Russian independant from Kremlin news agencies. Only European ORT, RTR and RT lied.
